Historic District

The Crystal Cove Historic District, 12.3 coastal acres around the mouth of Los Trancos Creek, consists of rustic vintage cottages originally built in the 1930s and ‘40s as a seaside colony. The area is perfect for a daytime stroll or the cottages can even be reserved for overnight rentals. Also within the Historic District is The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove, a restored cottage on the sand that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites alongside spectacular ocean views. Visit the Crystal Cove State Park website for maps and more information.

Tidepools Exploration

Home to a variety of wildlife, organisms, shells and rocks, the tide pools at Crystal Cove are a sight to behold. There are four tide pool viewing areas within the state park, and visiting at low tide is recommended for optimal visibility. Reference this tide pool guide for maps, FAQs and what to expect.
